Night photographers take on “Banksy” Tunnel
Tutor Ben Nathan took our night photographers on a slightly different route last Wednesday (March 14th) to try light painting on Leake Street aka Banksy Tunnel- an abandoned road under the tracks of Waterloo station, fiercely decorated with graffiti. Attendees learned how to “draw” with flashlights and even create double-exposed ”ghost” images. The group then headed to Westminster Bridge to wrap up the evening after being introduced to the panning technique. Described as ”very original, smart and amazing – and with lovely people”, the workshop is the 7th in a month-long series of Night Photography sessions which wrap up on March 29th. A new, extended workshop will be introduced later in the Spring – and for more information about it, join the mailing list here…

Snapshots from the Night Photowalk and Workshop – Southbank (March 1st)
Last night was the first in a month-long series of Night Photography workshops we’ve organised around the Southbank area. Tutor Andrew Gilpin gave us the opportunity to try out and master a number of creative techniques (check out our Pinterest board to see what I took!) while I personally discovered that Night photography is truly game of patience, timing (and tripods!) – with rewarding results.
If you’d like to join us, we’re down to the last few spaces on our March 15th and March 29th workshops, so for more info click here…
