Night photography

Shooting after-hours is alot of fun – not only do you learn about different functions on your camera and how they work, but you can end up with some really amazing shots, like the one above.  If you’ve never tried night photography before, we’re offering you 20% off our classes (even on our buddy passes!) which start on November 1st.  During the 3 hour workshop,  you’ll be introduced to some of the techniques used to capture subjects creatively at night – and it’s ideal for photographers who know how to use their cameras in manual mode.

You will also learn:

  • The best exposure settings for shooting after dark
  • How to take different types of pictures to produce striking effects
  • How to paint with light
  • Extra tips to help you compose impressive photos in low light conditions

Time:

3 hours (7-10pm)

Price:

Equipment needed

  • a DSLR or bridge camera (no point and shoots)
  • A tripod (monopods, bean pods or mini tripods will not be suitable)
  • flashlight  (for light painting)
  • As it gets colder in the evenings, please wear appropriate clothing and footwear – wrap up warm
