4-hour DSLR beginners workshop tutor
This is a fantastic opportunity for highly-motivated creative individuals with teaching experience to join The Culture Club tutor team. The 4-hour DSLR beginners tutor will be required to deliver outdoor workshops on a Saturday to help attendees understand how to use their camera and composition techniques.
The right candidates will:
- Be based in London
- Have experience using Digital SLR cameras
- Be a strong communicator with 1-2 years teaching experience.
- Be able to demonstrate photography techniques to groups of adults
This position is ideal for creatives or teachers looking for flexible, part-time work.
Payment ranges from £17-20 per hour on a self-employed basis, depending on experience.References will be required.

Compact Creatives (point & shoot) workshop tutor
This is a fantastic opportunity for highly-motivated creative individuals with teaching experience to join our tutor team. Compact Creative tutors will be required to deliver 2-hour photography classes at least once a month to help point and shoot camera users get the most out of using their cameras.
The right candidates will:
- Be based in London
- Have experience using compact cameras and be familiar with a wide range of models.
- Be a strong communicator
- Be able to demonstrate photography techniques to groups of adults and young people.
This position is ideal for creatives or teachers looking for flexible, part-time work.
Payment ranges from £17-20 per hour on a self-employed basis, depending on experience.

Student intern
The Culture Club Photography Workshops is an educational provider that offers fun and social photography classes and projects around the capital. As an intern, you’ll based in our Hackney HQ on a part-time basis, and get to work on a variety of fun projects and campaigns to help our start-up grow, while also developing transferable skills to help you with your career goals.
The right candidates will:
- Be based in London
- Be a people person, with experience working with adults and/or teenagers
- Be able to work in a team
- Have social media experience
- Have good research skills
- Be a proactive and hard-working individual with a good sense of humour and a willingness to learn.
- Be organised and efficient, able to prioritise their own workload and use their initiative.
- Have the ability to keep calm under pressure.
An interest in education, photography and associated arts is highly desirable.
Internship tasks will vary across web, admin, marketing and technical – and you’ll also get monthly training and the opportunity to develop your photography skills at our workshops!
Internships are unpaid and run for 3 months (2-3 days a week) or 24 days in total – but appropriate expenses will be re-imbursed.
