Photography Programmes for Young People
The Culture Club Photography Workshops is a London-based provider of fun, sociable and simple outdoor photography workshops around the capital.  Run and taught by qualified teachers  and professional photographers since 2011, the workshops offer students a chance to learn different photography styles while rediscovering cool areas in their city such as SouthbankCovent GardenNotting Hill and Shoreditch.

Photography Programmes For Young People

How can we help educators, schools, youth clubs or training providers?

The Culture Club Photography Workshops has developed session plans and resources (such as our manual photography pocket guide) which will engage young people or  students KS3-KS5 (aged 11-19) – so we could help organise and run extra curricular activities such as:
  • Summer schools
  • After-school clubs
  • Weekend clubs
  • Half-term clubs
  • Seasonal-projects
Photography Programmes for Young People

By the end of our sessions, young people will:

- Understand how to use digital cameras
- Develop their awareness of good composition and photography
- Increase their confidence in shooting
- Have a portfolio of work they will be proud of
- Re-discover the city they live in

We are currently in the process of developing educational programmes and briefs specifically targeted to schools and training providers in London so if you would like to get involved, have a project or would like further information, e-mail education@cultureclubphotographyworkshops.co.uk.
