Tutor Shan Rixon lead a group 12-strong of beginner photographers last weekend for a fun four hours of learning the basics of SLR photography and how to use a camera in manual mode.  Here’s what one of the attendees had to say:

“The workshop was absolutely brilliant. I was really impressed with the level of organisation and also level of instruction and knowledge. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I thoroughly enjoyed every second of the course. Shan (our teacher) was very knowledgeable and took her time explaining to each pupil and answering any questions. Matilda was also fantastic and is a true asset to the company. Nick helped me with a few pointers too. I learnt an amazing amount in a very short space of time, and the pace of learning was just perfect to enable me to remember what we learnt. There was an excellent balance of theory and practical experience gained. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is keen to learn a bit more than the “point and shoot” used by so many of us. It is all taught in a fun and friendly way and I can already see a huge improvement in my photos. Just a fantastic course so thank you to all those involved” Nikki, Essex
